THE CHALLENGE
The client had extremely aggressive growth goals. Their agency was expanding and they needed experts that could help them become a market leader.
They were looking for a digital partner that could recommend the best tactics for establishing and maintaining Page 1 organic positioning, especially for non-branded search terms.
THE SOLUTION
The client was looking to optimize their online presence both locally (Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego), but also at the State level. They had achieved already some respectable (branded) rankings when they contacted us, but were not ranked in the Top 10 for numerous important terms in a few of their more important service categories. Their goals were to generate more traffic by ranking for more highly searched keywords and regain the traffic/rankings they had previously lost due to receiving a penalty for unnatural inbound links.

01. AUDIT
The top priority for us at the initial stage was to regain what had been lost as part of the penalty. We had to undergo a thorough assessment of their current backlink profile, in which we identified an extremely high number of spam, black-hat links built to their site.
02. ON-PAGE
Next, we developed a detail SEO strategy based on the most relevant, high volume “money” keywords and the work already done by their direct competitors for those keywords. Our on-page SEO efforts focused on providing visitors with more keyword-rich hyper local content and improved navigation so that the search engines could see each location page was highly relevant to the keywords they were targeting.
03. OFF-PAGE
To further improve the results, our Off Page SEO strategy was focused on 2 key areas:
- An authoritative link building campaign was created to improve the overall trust and value of the site, thus validating its place in the market.
- Updating/Building local citation listings to improve consistency and completeness of NAP (Name, Address, and Phone) data for said locations.
