We are on the search for a Motion Designer to work on-site at our facilities. The ideal candidate possesses excellent motion graphic skills. Responsibilities: ● Collaborates closely with staff, partners, and clients on developing animations and other digital concepts and projects. Ensures that products meet program goals and budgets. ● Assists in designing and creating storyboards and scripts. ● Designs and delivers high quality motion graphics optimized for video/web/social media dissemination. ● Selects, edits, and incorporates third party content (stills, footage, music, graphics, etc.) as needed. ● Ensures all produced material is correctly optimized for chosen dissemination (web, social media, large presentation screen, social media). ● Works directly with external consultants (videographers, photographers, narrators, programmers, voice artists, animators, translators, developers/coders), ensuring that their work matches quality and branding. ● Working closely with the Digital Designer and Video/Digital Producer in developing multimedia presentations for meetings, conferences, etc. ● Tracks new content trends and technologies to ensure the output remains on the cutting edge. ● Able to create motion graphic templates to be used in projects. Qualifications: ● Has a minimum of 2 years experience with motion graphics film/video production within an agency, or in-house environment. ● Core focus on digital and motion with strong visual, interactive, and graphic skills. ● Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator. ● Have a great understanding of design principles and work confidently with storyboards, typography, photography, illustration, and any kind of imagery necessary to produce motion design. ● Be able to implement animation principles into branding and develop overarching concepts to guide motion graphics through social media and other digital channels. ● Design-driven with attention to detail as well as ability to think big. ● Experience in managing multiple work streams and projects efficiently with excellent communication and organizational skills. ● Driven and ambitious with the ability to apply your thinking to any brief. ● A strong portfolio/reel, showcasing a variety of work.
